Take a helicopter ride over the town of Whistler, see Cheakamus Glacier and Garibaldi Provincial Park with breathtaking views, and make a landing on a mountain!

You will board a helicopter and begin flying over the town of Whistler. You will observe Whistler Blackcomb ski resort, one of the largest in North America. You will then admire the beauty of the Cheakamus glacier at an altitude of 2,169 metres, along with its turquoise green lake. You will also have a great view of the Peak 2 Peak lifts, which connect the Whistler and Blackcomb areas. 

You will contemplate the large Garibaldi Provincial Park and observe the beautiful mountains and lakes. Then, weather permitting, your pilot will make a landing on Rainbow Mountain where you can take time to observe the surrounding scenery. You will then head back to the heliport.

  • Availability: every day (except under exceptional circumstances)
  • Time: 11 am (meet 20 min before)
  • Total duration: 40 minutes (25 minutes flight and 15 minutes stop on the mountain)
  • Starting place: Heliport Road, Whistler
  • In order to board the helicopter, each passenger will be required to show valid ID
  • The helicopter flight will be in groups of up to 5 people, a minimum of 2 participants is required to take part in this activity
  • Under adverse weather conditions, the pilot may not be able to land on the mountain
  • The maximum weight per passenger is 158 kilos
  • Children under 2 years old can participate in the activity free of charge on their parents' laps
  • In the event of bad weather leading to a cancellation, an alternative time or date will be proposed. If there is no suitable date or time, you will receive a full refund
  • People with reduced mobility cannot participate in this activity
  • Please wear seasonally-appropriate clothing to make the most of this activity
  • This activity is not accessible for people with reduced mobility
