Around 25 miles / 40km from Prague, the Konopiště Castle is situated close to Benesov.
Konopiště Castle is the former residence of the heir to Austria's throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and is famous for being one of the most beautiful Czech castles.
Wander through the different rooms in the castle where you will see magnificent collections of furniture, sculptures, paintings and hunting trophies.
Stroll through the gardens at your own pace and admire the romantic architecture of Konopiště Castle.
