Departing from Prague, discover one of the biggest castles of Bohemia!
Situated about 18 miles / 30 kilometres from Prague, Karlštejn Castle was built over 650 years ago.
Travel by bus and arrive at the castle surrounded a dense and vast forest.
Founded by Charles IV to protect the Crown Jewels and relics, Karlštejn Castle has been one of the most visited monuments in the Czech Republic since it was opened to the public in the 19th century.
Your accompanying guide will show you the Gothic architecture of this fortified building and you will be able to take in the breathtaking view of the Berounka river.
