You will be picked up from your hotel in Petra or Dana and driven to Wadi Ghuweir. Situated in the heart of the Dana nature reserve, around 1 hour from Petra, the Wadi Ghuweir canyon offers an ideal setting for a hike. Over the course of around 5 hours, you'll discover a wide variety of natural landscapes. You will pass between natural pools, oases and palm groves, alternating between lush green and rocky environments. You'll criss-cross the red rock canyons and cool off in the natural waters.
Your private guide will accompany you throughout your hike, adapting to your pace while commenting on the places you pass through. You'll learn more about the region's unique features. A picnic will be served at lunchtime.
