Discover Lake Nukuru National Park and admire the variety of species that inhabit it on a day safari from Nairobi!
You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi at dawn, and set off for Lake Nukuru National Park, located approximately 160km north of Nairobi.
At the park gates, you will change vehicles and take a seat in an open-top jeep or 4x4. Accompanied by a ranger guide, you will set off on your first safari, which lasts around 2.5 hours. Lake Nakuru is famous for its rich fauna, especially its birds and flamingos. You'll have the chance to get up close to them and observe them in their natural environment without disturbing them. Your ranger guide will also help you find the many rhinos and giraffes that populate the area around the lake. If you're lucky, you might even spot some lions or leopards!
At around midday, you'll enjoy a lunch break at one of the park's lodges (lunch not included). After a relaxing break, you will set off on your second game drive towards Nairobi in the early afternoon. You will return to your hotel at the end of the day.
