Make the most of your stay and take an excursion to Jebel Akhdar, the "green mountain"!
With your local guide, in a 4x4, leave from Muscat and cross Sumail and Izki valleys, which are part of the Sultanate of Oman.
Your tour will continue on a mountain road through the Saiq plateau, which, for hundreds of years, was only accessible by donkey back. Jebel Akhdar, "the Green Mountain", is a place for discovery and adventure. Surrender to the charms of one of Oman's most remote places.
Enjoy a meal in a local restaurant before heading for a walk through the hanging gardens.
Finally, you will be taken to Soqra, a charming, isolated mountain village. Return to Muscat in the late afternoon.
