Admire Madrid's major landmarks on a guided panoramic bus and walking tour of the city!
You'll start your morning tour of Madrid with a guided walk through the city centre.
Accompanied by your guide you'll walk through the Plaza de la Villa, the Plaza Mayor, a main square that's lined with shops, and the historic Puerta del Sol square. You'll then arrive at the Plaza del Oriente, famous for its vast garden surrounded by royal statues.
You'll then board a bus to tour the rest of the city. The bus will head to Puerta Toledo, home to buildings that date back to the Napoleonic era. You'll then head along the Manzanares River where you can admire the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral.
The bus will then take you along the Gran Via, one of Madrid's liveliest avenues with numerous shops and restaurants. You'll see the Cibeles fountain, a gathering place for Real Madrid fans who come here to celebrate their club's victories. You'll pass by the Puerta de Alcala, the best-known of Madrid's five ancient main gates.
As you drive along the Paseo de la Castellana, you'll catch a glimpse of the Santiago Barnabéu stadium, home to Real Madrid players, and Columbus Square created in memory of the famous explorer.
After the bus tour, you can go on a guided tour of the Royal Palace (if you select this optional extra). Admire its Baroque and classical Italian architecture. You'll be amazed by the grandiosity of this palace, which is the largest one in Europe. The palace is no longer the King's official residence, but it's still used for state ceremonies. Your guide will take you through the Palace's rooms while providing commentary and sharing interesting facts.
