Set off for a day in northern Montenegro and discover Durmitor National Park, Black Lake and Ostrog Monastery!
You'll meet your professional guide for the day at the designated departure point in Kotor. You'll head for Perast, a small fishing village, and make a photo stop at a viewpoint overlooking the whole Risan Bay. Your guide will take you to Nikšić so you can enjoy a local breakfast, then you'll arrive late morning at the iconic Đurđevića Tara bridge. This bridge crosses the River Tara, home to Europe's deepest canyon, and the bravest can enjoy a zip-line crossing above the Tara (optional on site). Your tour will continue to Žabljak, the highest town in the Balkans, situated at an altitude of 1,456 metres. You'll enjoy one hour of free time at Black Lake, a must-see place in Montenegro; your guide will show you where to swim and the best hiking trails around the lake. You'll have a lunch break at a local restaurant and then head to the Ostrog monastery, a famous place of pilgrimage in Montenegro. The monastery's history dates back to Saint Basil of Ostrog in the 17th century. His relics can now be found in the monastery. You will be driven back to Kotor after a day trip to the north of the country.
