Take advantage of your stay in Tasmania to visit Hobart! Founded in 1804 by the British to serve as a penitentiary colony, it is the biggest city in the region!

Meet your local guide in central Hobart early in the morning. From there, you will begin with a tour of the city and learn more about its history, architecture, monuments and other landmarks. Amongst the main landmarks of the city, you will see:

  • Salamanca Square
  • The Cascade Gardens Brewery
  • The old Female Factory
  • The Treasury building
  • The Royal Tasmania Botanical Gardens
