Ship a small group aboard a sailboat for a cruise in Grand Cul-de-sac marin bay!
Your cruise in the baie de Grand Cul-de-sac marin departs from Baie-Mahault at 7:20 am. This bay is a nature reserve protectedby a coral reef offering calm, warm waters.
Your captain will welcome you aboard his small sailboat with coffee and juices to get the day off to a good start. You'll then set sail for l'îlet Caret, a palm-covered sandbank 250 meters long and 20 meters wide. The water is turquoise. You'll then head to thecoral reef, above a shipwreck, where you can swim amidst corals and colorful fish.
After this swimming break, you'll head back out to sea towards the îlets de la Biche. Considered one of the most beautiful islets in the lagoon, it's here that you'll enjoy a moment of sharing and conviviality. Sheltered by mangroves, your captain will suggest a lunch break where you can enjoy your picnic. You'll have another chance to swim and bathe in the lagoon's warm waters.
Throughout the cruise, you'll have the opportunity toinitiate yourself to sailing with the help of your captain. Two paddles are available on the boat for you to enjoy during breaks. What's more, the yacht has removable awnings to protect you from the sun or rain, as well as environmentally-friendly sanitary facilities.
The return to the quay is scheduled for around 4 pm.
