Set off and discover Southern Basse Terre in the company of a local guide and enjoy lunch in the area!

Accompanied by your driver-guide, climb on board your 4x4 and start your adventure exploring the area between Petit Bourg and Goyave. There you will discover various crops including bananas and pineapples.

Then visit Longueteau rum distillery, the oldest in Guadeloupe. On the way, also make a small stop at the Shangy Hindu Temple, before visiting a ‘Kassaverie’ (where you can try the traditional staple food cassava).

After, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, head to Carbet falls second cascade, the highest in the island at 110 metres. You will get to the falls after a 20 minute walk through the tropical forest.

Finally, before returning to your hotel, take a dip in the Bassin Paradise.

  • If the tour of Longueteau distillery is not available you will be able to tour the Montebello distillery instead
  • You will also be able to swim off Roseau Beach if there is time
