Use your time in Cuenco to come and explore the largest archaeological complex in Ecuador: the Inca ruins of Ingapirca!
You'll be picked up from your hotel or at a meet-up point in Cuenca, and be driven to Ingapirca, the city that is home to the largest archaeological complex in Ecuador.
Once on site, you can walk through the ruins and admire the remains of the ancient buildings. Your guide will tell all about the history of these ancient Inca temples along with plenty of tales about the site.
You'll also be able to see the archaeological complex's main structure. Although it was originally thought to be a fortress because of its essential role in the country's military endeavours, nowadays it's classed as a place of worship dedicated to the Sun.
You'll then see a selection of handicrafts and typical everyday objects, and discover the pottery alongside Ecuadorian cuisine - local Cuenca dishes in particular.
Once you finish your tour, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Cuenca.
