Discover Bordeaux's historic district through a gourmet guided tour!
The guided tour will start with a coffee and chocolate tasting in a coffee shop where your guide will tell you more about the history of the Port de la Lune, built to meet the city's economic needs.
You'll then stop off at a grocery store, where you'll taste fruit in summer, and honey accompanied by fruit in winter. You'll also have the opportunity to taste the famous chocolatine as well as a variety of breads. Of course, you won't want to miss tasting the quintessential Bordeaux pastry, the canelé, at an artisan's.
You'll then head to the Capucins covered market, close to Bordeaux city center. Here you can discover the flavors of different cheeses with wine or charcuterie from several producers.
Finally, you'll follow your guide to the Saint-Michel district to a cantine/restaurant to taste a signature dish from a Bordeaux chef accompanied by a glass of wine.
During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Bordeaux's iconic monuments such as the Place du Palais, the Place Camille Julian, the Grosse Cloche, the marché des Capucins or the Basilique Saint-Michel.
You'll enjoy a total of 9 tastings at the neighborhood's finest artisans.
All along this discovery of Bordeaux, you'll taste local products from short circuits, in a sustainable tourism approach. Our partner is a local company committed to promoting French know-how.
