After leaving your Auckland hotel you will travel south by minibus. Passing through the stunning agricultural Waikato region, and the historic town of Cambridge with its English-style tree-lined streets. The guides tour continues into New Zealand's green hills and we lunch at the Shire's Rest Café.

On arrival in Hobbiton you will be plunged into the world of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. With 44 Hobbit Holes, The Mill, double arch bridge, and Party Tree, this authentic film set lets you experience life in The Shire! You can even have a beer or soft drink at the Green Dragon Inn! After this extraordinary visit to the land of the Hobbits you will be taken back to your hotel.
