Discover works of art on the streets of Athens!
Visitors will be accompanied by a artist guide, who knows all of the iconic works of art around the city. Thanks to their experience and enthusiasm, admire art that ranges from frescos and murals stenciled onto walls to political messages.
The tour starts in the Gazi neighborhood, where visitors can see art that has been built as well as more formal pieces.
Next, head to the Metaxourgheio neighborhood, the newest neighborhood in the city. Here there are numerous art galleries, surrounded by old, abandoned houses. One can find plenty of space here to express themselves via street art.
The tour will end in Psiri, the cradle of street art in Athens; the area remains politically engaged to this day. Many of the pieces are known and respected by the communities, who insure that they are not destroyed
