Board a ferry transfer from Penneshaw to Cape Jervis and back to the mainland with ease!

You'll meet in Penneshaw, at the boarding bridge of the ferry linking Kangaroo Island to the Australian mainland. On board, you'll enjoy a 45-minute crossing, offering pleasant views of the coast and waters surrounding the island.

At the time of booking, you can choose from five departure times, depending on your requirements:

  • Departure at 8:30am (arrival in Cape Jervis at 9:15am)
  • Departure at 10:30am (arrival in Cape Jervis at 9:15am)./strong> (arrival in Cape Jervis at 11:15)
  • Departure at 14:30 (arrival in Cape Jervis at 15h15)
  • Departure at 17h30 (arrival in Cape Jervis at 18h15)
  • Departure at 19:30 (arrival in Cape Jervis at 20:15)

Boarding will take place 30 minutes before each departure. 

Optionally, transport to Adelaide is available to facilitate your journey after arrival in Cape Jervis.

At the time of booking, you can also select a transfer from Cape Jervis to Adelaide's Central Bus Station.Two shuttles, one at 9:30 am, the other at 8:30 pm, depart from Cape Jervis every day.

  • Time : 8:30am, 10:30am, 2:30pm, 5:30pm or 7:30pm
  • Duration : approx. 45 minutes
  • Starting point : Penneshaw
  • If you have booked a transfer that also includes transport to Adelaide, you will meet your shuttle on leaving the ferry and reach Adelaide in around 1.5 hours (shuttles depart at 9.30 am and 8.30 pm)
