Discover Huanghuacheng on the Great Wall of China on a trek with a local guide.
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Huanghuancheng, located 60 kilometres from Beijing.
This section of the Great Wall of China is one of the only ones to cross both mountains and rivers. In summer, its surroundings are covered in wild yellow flowers, "huanghua", which is Chinese for "yellow flowers".
Hike for 5 to 6 hours and marvel at the lakes, mountains, and horse chestnut meadows planted in the time of the Ming dynasty.
You will have lunch with your guide before returning to Beijing.
